Hi, my name is Nellie. My mom had to go into a nursing home. Nobody wanted me, then my friend Foster said she would come get me, and she said everything would be okay. She calls me her sweet Nellie Belle. Anyway, something had happened to my leg. Dr. Vet said it looks like I was kicked. It really hurt my leg and they couldn't fix it. They had to take it off. It was really scary when I woke up, but Foster was with me. I am healing very quickly and am learning how to walk on three legs, go up and down stairs, run and play, and jump without it. It doesn't hurt anymore. Foster says I am a really good girl, I smile a lot, I like to play outside, but I would love to be an only dog. Foster says I will find my special forever home someday. I have all my shots, I can't have puppies, I don't have heartworms or fleas. Would you like to be my forever person? If you do, send Foster a letter on her computer. I will be your forever girl.
